Lisa Spellman is a Licensed Acupuncturist who has been on staff at Boston Medical Center since 2006, where she supervises acupuncture interns in the New England School of Acupuncture free care Acupuncture Clinic. Previous work experience in western medical settings combined with her love of teaching make integrative settings a natural place for her. She specializes in the non-insertive acupuncture treatment of addicted newborns and also in various adolescent conditions. Faculty members have nothing to disclose with regard to commercial support. Ellen Silver Highfield is a Licensed Acupuncturist who
has been in practice since 1982. She is an Assistant Research Professor
and Director of Acupuncture Programs in the Department of Family Medicine at
Boston University School of Medicine. She has twenty years of experience
teaching acupuncture at the New England School of Acupuncture and has also
taught numerous CAM Faculty Development workshops of integrating acupuncture
into traditional medical venues. She specializes in acupuncture as an
adjunct to oncology, chronic pain and pediatrics.
